35559 If you guys like The Butterfly Garden let me know if you're going to read the next one in the series. I'm reading it next week.

35559 I love this book! I read it about once a year lately. I purchased the audio version which is really cool too. This was the first book I read of his when I was a teenager and it totally freaked me out!!

35559 Let's see. So for for our next detour

Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as trilogy - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable

We have: Abir, Louise, Jenny and Lisa - jessica

If 3 2 more of us can do this detour we can get 50 points. if only the four people listed can do the detour, we don't get any more points than doing the spell it out or reading a book set in or written by someone from that country (35 points).

If we don't get 7 people for the detour, the spell it out might be easier for this stop.

35559 Done - sorry about that Jessica.

35559 I don't know about searching for books by date, but you can sort by published date...

For detour 7 I think they're looking for authors like Mary Higgins Clark or Jean Paul Sartre (author's that use 3 names).

Yes I agree detour 6 seems hard to me. I'm good with the other detours (2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8).

No worries. We are a very laid back travel group. We can extend our stops if needed if not everyone has a chance to read by next Friday.

35559 Great! So, since we started today (Saturday), we'll go with a Saturday - Friday week. So everyone try and read a book that fits set in the US or written by a US author by next Friday!

35559 We have our next itinerary!

First Stop
1. Khabarovsk (RU) - Honolulu (US)

Spell it out - HONOLULU or HAWAII
Written by an author from or set in the United States
Detour - Read a book where the edition you are reading was published on the 22nd of a month

I'm feeling spell it out or set in the U.S. But what do you all think?

For our stops, does Sunday - Saturday work for everyone? Or Monday - Sunday?
Sep 12, 2018 11:12AM

35559 Yes I did - I hope it's not that one...I'm still recovering from Quidditch!
