Ugh - moving. I had to shut down my parent's house early this year and get that ready for sale, and move myself from one rental to another so I feel ya!!

That's awesome. When you're done that book, see what book you want to read next and see if it will work in one of the words we are spelling out. We'll work together to try and fill out the rest of the word.

I looked through the Q&A and we'll be fine. Someone else already asked and it is on the honor system so if we finish two zones the same day it's okay.

FYI, I moved Jill's book to Group 3 - the word ANY.

If Trisha doesn't finish her Group 2 book today, I'll remove the books I put under the word COVER in Group 3.

Hi Jill. You are right, we can't finish the Zone 2 books until Zone 1 is done.

So, right now, we are reading/finishing books for Zone 1. I understand you probably won't finish your book today. So, what we'll do is move your book from Zone 1 to Zone 3 for the SIO. We'll find another book to work for N, so we can finish our Zone 1 and Zone 2 books today.

A couple of us, Vicki and me, are also reading books for another challenge that has today as a deadline. That's why we're making this extra push to finish books today for this challenge. Otherwise, we wouldn't be asking to speed up reading times.

We can use your book in the SIO section (Zone or Group 3 on the SS). Can you move it to a place it will fit?

I just finished a book by Neal Shusterman we can use for N, so we can start finishing our books for Zone 2.

Yes, that's my understanding too Vicki. We can start just not finish books. I'm in the same situation with Turf Wars.

I think the round will probably end ~ 9/18th. We should see a notification in the main thread in a day or two with the final deadline.

For Zone 1, at least 2 of the books we read need to be prior BOMs or books read by another team. Vicki covered 2 with her books already, so we don't need to worry about covering any more.

Right now, we are all reading for Zone 1. When we're done that, we'll probably work on Zone 2. Then, we'll move on to Zone 3.

Tentative timeline:

Zone 1: finish Saturday 9/14
Zone 2: finish Sunday 9/15
Zone 3: SIO - can start finishing books after Zone 2 is done (can read up to 95% of a book just not finish it until the other zones are done)

Okay, so I added some words to our spell out place in Zone 3. When we finish our Zone 1 and then Zone 2 books, we can start finishing our words.

Those are the words we can spell out in Zone 3. It would be good to choose a few to start with, or to enter them in Zone 3 so we can plan what words we can spell out in that Zone.

Your N book is fine. You don't need to mention that Vicki also read it. Can you copy the link to the version you read? Or, post a completion post in this thread and we can link it for you.

I found books for the two open poison spots in Zone 2 so when we get there I can read them. They're both pretty short so they shouldn't take me too long.

The main thing with this challenge is coordinating which zone we are reading for first. Each zone has to be completed before another zone can be completed. So, let's say you find a book that works for one of the letters in POISON. You can start reading, but can't finish your book until the countdown stage is over.

If I find a book with yellow and POISON in the title or author's name, I could start my book, but couldn't finish until all the books in Zone 1 are finished,

Does that make sense?
