Yes, I did and I hope something wonderful will between them. They are both very powerful characters in this book and I think they need each other to balance it out. (Hopes are high)

Loved it. So glad to have gone back to book 1. I'm trying to decide if I continue to book 2, or just go straight to the book I'm actually up to in the series (#8)... Decisions, decisions..."

Most difficult decision ever. If you have the extra time, of course, read book 2 too :)

Also, I agree with your statement about Kate, Curran etc.
35559 Chapter 3-5

I am really intrigued by the correlation between magic and tech. I am a very huge vampire fan and how vampires are described in this book is so cool and unique (hahaha, not shiny (U know what book I am mentioning)).

(view spoiler)

The further I am in the book, I like this world even more and more and want to find out everything asap.

35559 Also, I have two (maybe 3) books for the celestial object (Both of them are 400+).
Will be reading them next month.

35559 Team Hermione Granger

1. Hermione Granger - My nickname in school was Hermione, bc everyone associated her with someone who is smart and intelligent. Her love to books is so inspiring, she really didn't care that she knows more than kids her age. That makes her even more powerful. She's hardworking. She puts in a lot of effort into things. Also, she is very loyal and tough.

2. The Weasley twins - George and Fred - I know, they aren't one person, but through the whole series, you take them like one person. They are funny, adventurous hilarious and they know how to make the saddest/darkest day into something much brighter.

3. Sirius Black was also an awesome character. Yes, in the beginning, he was misunderstood, but after that. He was funny, kind, intelligent - everything good character should have. Also, he was in some parts of the story "little bit bully" but he had own reasons for that. He really wanted to be good Godfather to Harry.
35559 I think we should start this book in June (Maybe 14/15?), so everyone who is still reading book 1 and 2, can catch up.

Team Hermione Granger
35559 Chapter 1-2

The start was really slow and in some parts little bit confusing, but now I understand the world more and can keep track of everything that is going on.
Chapters are longer than average book have, so it will take some time to read it. Writing is complex but interesting. I am liking it so far.

Also, Kate is a badass character and I really like how she deals with things.

Seconding that.
35559 I just finished it, but unfortunately, I didn't like it as much as the first one. But I will definitely continue with this series.

My final thoughts: (view spoiler)

PS. I will ask Mods for a thread for the third book if someone wants to read it too as BR.

I had this problem too. And I like that Seanan gave to a girl "boy" nickname.
35559 I was thinking to start this book too (First-time reader), but here was so quiet that I was putting it down until someone comes around :)
