I'm reading it slow because i have another buddy read and I was super into Throne of Glass, so I'm only at like 4%. It's a slow start but not terrible.

You're not the only who thought that - Megan the book slayer hated it too. I personally really liked it.Good plot, witty banter, enough twists and turns to keep me guessing but not lost, good romance but not the central part, etc :)

Hey guys Melanie again - I'm reading Throne of Glass and I'm about 3/4 finished - please tell me she ends up with Chaol instead of Dorian!!!! Dorian isn't bad but I'm totally team Chaol, even when he's an asshole!!!

I'm halfway through and it's good! Wish I had more free time but I'm work and I have to actually get stuff done...

Starting book 2 today! I got caught up in Throne of Glass yesterday. More than halfway done. I may finish that before I start the Apprentice

If you guys want to go ahead and start this today, feel free! I'm going to read this plus another 2 at once, so I'll make slower progress, but I'm sure it'll be great!

I am but I'm listening to an audio book so i'm not making progress as quickly.

Ozana, it's informal so no deadline or number of pages. I'm finishing a book hopefully by Thursday so I'll start it then. I may start it in the evening. Megan no worries!

I guess everyone just read at your own pace and feel free to comment here with observations, questions, or characters you love during the read. I've only done one buddy read and I was kinda behind so I didn't really get involved in posting, but I saw most posts were reactions or emotions, and characters they liked or didn't like.

I'm excited!!!
