Could use Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad for book written 20+ years ago.

What do we need for Card 5?

Wonderful! Thanks for asking! :)"

What was your favourite part?"

Watching the leaves change color and seeing breathtaking images everywhere I looked.

35559 Aw, thanks guys! I took a speed reading class years ago. I also have lots of time on my hands since I'm on a reduced work schedule due to an injury.

I finished Eggsecutive Orders. My plan is to finish the two I'm reading now in the next 2-ish days and then read A Death In Vienna (#4) and Prince of Fire (#5)...both of which will help with our weapon level unless they can be put to better use somewhere else, of course. :)

35559 Finished Earth Star (Earth Girl, #2) by Janet Edwards and The Clinic (Alex Delaware #11) by Jonathan Kellerman . Started Survival of the Fittest (Alex Delaware, #12) by Jonathan Kellerman and Eggsecutive Orders (A White House Chef Mystery, #3) by Julie Hyzy . Eggsecutive Orders could work for "palatability" since the m.c. is the White House chef. Survival of the Fittest would work for "S" or possibly for acceptability since the m.c. is a psychologist. I will finish The Key To The Iron City later today.

35559 "flowers", "Stones" (as in Rolling Stones), AND "mushrooms" are in Fearless Fourteen; and "stone", "flowers", and "lilies" (if we can use a kind of flower) are in The Clinic. I've got sentences and page numbers if we can use any.

35559 For a book with less than 10 ratings, I could read The Key To The Iron City by Donna Hawk , right now there are only 8 ratings.

Starting Fearless Fourteen (Stephanie Plum, #14) by Janet Evanovich , started Dark Tort (A Goldy Bear Culinary Mystery, #13) by Diane Mott Davidson last night. Will finish Noises Off by Michael Frayn tonight.

35559 Changed plans just a bit. Finished A Killer Read (Ashton Corners Book Club Mystery #1) by Erika Chase and started Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha (Mrs Pollifax #7) by Dorothy Gilman . Noises Off by Michael Frayn could be used for "character you find annoying" because Freddy is such a whiny wimp...he annoys me. Should finish it tomorrow. Working on finishing Once Bitten (Melanie Travis, #8) by Laurien Berenson tonight. Reading The Clinic (Alex Delaware #11) by Jonathan Kellerman but focusing on others I think we could use first.

35559 Any of my unused books would work for "native language". I've finished A Hell of a Dog (Rachel Alexander & Dash, #3) by Carol Lea Benjamin and Golden Eggs and Other Deadly Things (Carrie Carlin, #4) by Nancy Tesler and Rootabaga Stories by Carl Sandburg . Starting A Killer Read (Ashton Corners Book Club Mystery #1) by Erika Chase (butterfly on cover), Once Bitten (Melanie Travis, #8) by Laurien Berenson , and then Noises Off by Michael Frayn (I find Freddy annoying) after I finish The Water Room: A Peculiar Crimes Unit Mystery later this evening.

35559 A quick read that I will start today is Rootabaga Stories by Carl Sandburg which has a door, a set of stairs, and a few windows on the cover...all of which you can, of course, go through to enter a house.

35559 Finished Full Dark House A Peculiar Crimes Unit Mystery by Christopher Fowler and A Hell of a Dog (Rachel Alexander & Dash, #3) by Carol Lea Benjamin . Starting The Water Room A Peculiar Crimes Unit Mystery by Christopher Fowler and Unholy Ghost Writers on Depression by Nell Casey , which has quite a few trees on the cover...might work for "something very high"?

Also, Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha (Mrs Pollifax #7) by Dorothy Gilman is #7 in the series, not #6 as I had previously posted. I fixed the error in the original post.
