35559 I will put The Paris Vendetta on hold and read Once a Thief (Quinn/Thief #1) by Kay Hooper for "main character is a thief" instead.

35559 Finished Matched and French Fried. All books should now be on WOBBLE shelf. :)

Would The Paris Vendetta (Cotton Malone, #5) by Steve Berry work for red cover? Can't decide if it is more orange or red.

I think that sounds good.

Finished Something Rotten, which could be used for "T" (character Thursday Next). Finishing Black Ribbon late tonight/tomorrow morning. Started The Empty Chair which could be used for "E", "R" (MC Lincoln Rhyme), or "A" (other MC Amelia Sachs). Will hold off on French Fried until we decide what to do with series/weapon.

That's right...oops. Don't forget about us at Olympics, Kathleen! :) We need you!

35559 Finished The Summer Book and Zlata's Diary: A Child's Life in Wartime Sarajevo. Will finish Murder Can Singe Your Old Flame in the morning. Starting Something Rotten tonight ("S"?) and Matched tomorrow morning ("R"?--MC's last name is Reyes).

I will read No Place Like Oz (Dorothy Must Die, #0.1) by Danielle Paige (#0.1) and The Darke Toad (Septimus Heap, #1.5) by Angie Sage (#1.5). I have lots of other half-steps if nobody else has one. I could read Sunbathing In The Rain A Cheerful Book About Depression by Gwyneth Lewis if that will work for beach item on cover, Black Ribbon (A Dog Lover's Mystery, #8) by Susan Conant for a #8 spot, and Thus Was Adonis Murdered (Hilary Tamar, #1) by Sarah Caudwell for "T". I have options for other slots if we need to switch around.

35559 Nothing terribly exciting. Working a few hours, reading, binge-watching a show or two.

Next on my list to read: Something Rotten (Thursday Next, #4) by Jasper Fforde and Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie . Also started Zlata's Diary A Child's Life in Wartime Sarajevo by Zlata Filipović . Might change it up a bit, though. Do you think The Light Fantastic (Discworld, #2; Rincewind #2) by Terry Pratchett could be used for healing word in title since special lights are used to treat depression and others are used to treat newborn jaundice?

35559 Finished Running Blind (Jack Reacher, #4) by Lee Child and The General's Daughter by Nelson DeMille . Starting The Summer Book by Tove Jansson . I will also start Murder Can Singe Your Old Flame (Desiree Shapiro Mystery, #6) by Selma Eichler for Skandia's #6 space.

35559 I could read The Mermaid Garden by Santa Montefiore for flowers on cover and The Summer Book by Tove Jansson for set during summer. I can't find any books published on the 13th...there must be a bunch, if you see any, let me know. :)

35559 Finished Prince of Fire (Gabriel Allon, #5) by Daniel Silva and The Genesis Key by James Barney . I've started The General's Daughter by Nelson DeMille and Running Blind (Jack Reacher, #4) by Lee Child .

35559 Finished A Death in Vienna (Gabriel Allon, #4) by Daniel Silva . Started Prince of Fire (Gabriel Allon, #5) by Daniel Silva today, and Sky Burial An Epic Love Story of Tibet by Xinran and The Genesis Key by James Barney yesterday.

Next on my list: 2 I need to finish this month-- Running Blind (Jack Reacher, #4) by Lee Child (#4 in series) and The General's Daughter (Paul Brenner, #1) by Nelson DeMille (#1 in series). Trying to find a book that could fit "isotropic" and another way The General's Daughter could be used, maybe red cover, but I don't think it is red enough. This could be stretching it, but it might fit "isotropic" in that the title character is found dead, and dead is dead, it doesn't change.

I could also read Off Kilter (Scottish Highlands, #1) by Hannah Reed , which would obviously fit "O" in "cross".

35559 Finished Blinded (Alan Gregory, #12) by Stephen White . Started A Death in Vienna (Gabriel Allon, #4) by Daniel Silva . I can also read Sky Burial by Xinran , which is 161 pages.

After I finish Sky Burial I was planning on reading The Genesis Key by James Barney . Do you think it would work for "perpetuity" since the plot centers around the human genome and DNA, which all living things have and that will never change? The other two books I plan to finish before the end of the month (besides Prince of Fire) are The General's Daughter and Running Blind.
