35559 I will finish the two I have left before the deadline. I will be done with The Princess Plan in about a half an hour or so and I have probably 2 hours left of The Last Oracle.

35559 My thought for sticking to one card was if you do that and read the max of 45 books then you can get 12 line bonuses if you strategically black out 4 boxes on the one card. If you use multiple cards, I don't think you'd be able to achieve the same number of line bonuses. But sticking to the one card does mean reading for some harder words, so using other cards might make placing books easier.

35559 I really like both of the stories. Thank you Ora and Judy for putting those together. I don't have a creative bone in my body, so I'm glad you two were able to string the stories together.

35559 For my last two week 5 books, I have about 100 pages left of It Takes a Scandal, so I should finish in just over an hour. I have finished my Elizabeth book, I switched the one I was planning on reading for Elizabeth Bennet in Disguise as I liked that it had the full name of the P&P character as I thought that would be better for the story.

35559 I finally finished the Mr. Darcy book. I added it to the spreadsheet as a bad book "recommendation" as you already completed it Ora and I wasn't sure if it was going in the story twice.

35559 For next week's mini challenge, I added a tab in the planning sheet where I recreated our 3 bingo cards. I figured that will make things easier visually to see when we have a bingo. My suggestion would be once a square has been taken/completed to fill it in a color to show what's open and what's done. If it helps, we could also add our name to the square.

Also, if we as a team decide to focus on 1 card (which may be best in terms of bonus points for the completed lines), I can always remove the others. If we go this route, my preference is card # 1.

35559 I have It Takes a Scandal which seems like it would work well in the Darcy/Elizabeth story. Could work for what one of them or the world says.

35559 I found Finding Elizabeth on Scribd, so I can read it to make our Darcy and Elizabeth story work if no one has a book already with Elizabeth in the title.

That makes sense, will do. I'll likely read the book after work today or tomorrow.

Great, thanks for explaining. I haven't done BRs in this group as part of a challenge, so I wasn't 100% sure how it worked.

I think I'll join in on that. Just sent a request to join the backroom.

Nice, it's published by an imprint of Simon & Schuster which means I can get a copy of the eBook edition for free from work (Fifty Shades of Mr. Darcy). For anyone who has Scribd, the eBook edition is on there.

Does the book still count towards a sin and then the 7 points are on top of the sin bonus points? Or is it just the 7 points for the buddy read? Ignore this part, just noticed it's one of the Bad Books recs.
