Chapter 10-15

(view spoiler)[I have a feeling Tamsin is not dead. I know the three books in the trilogy tell the same story, the same events but from the point of view of three different female character. From the start I had a feeling that the two others would be Mira and Tamsin. Can't be otherwise.

I really don't trust the Doyle family. First Warren is too confident and came on way too quickly on Adelaide. I knew something was fishy here. Then, his mother revealing she knows who Adelaide is and blackmailing her. I don't like it. (hide spoiler)]

Thanks ! A painting is a good one. I don't think I would fall into a painting, unless that painting is moving :) That would draw my attention

I had the same thoughts! (view spoiler)[The Selection immediately came to mind when they explained what the Glittering Court was and also when Clara started being really bitchy and competitive.

I just passed an exam myself. aren't oral examinations the worst? I was so stressed my tongue felt completely numb and I stuttered. -_-' and my teacher is the kind to point out every little error of pronunciation... but even so, I passed with flying colors. I'm really happy. It was for my canadian lit class. At the end he asked me if I liked the Margaret Atwood book we had to read. I said that I liked it so much I was planning to read the rest of the trilogy during summer. haha. he said I would need the whole summer for that because the trilogy is so long... LOL! just watch me!

Finished the first 5 chapters

(view spoiler)[It's entertaining. I'm enjoying it so far.
I just don't really care for the main character that much. She's a bit annoying, isn't she? But I expect there to be some character growth. There has to be. She's the classic lady character who needs to learn what it means to be a commoner.
I can see somthing happening between her and Cedric. But I don't know what to do with the rumors about him and Mira. I'm sure there's something there. But is it of the romantic sort? I'm not sure. (hide spoiler)]

It also made me want to read more Seanan McGuire. I'll start with the October Daye series. I just heard so many amazing things about it.

Hi! I'd like to join you in this BR :) I'm from team Hermione.

Richelle Mead is one of my favorite authors. I had no serious plans to read this series. I heard really mixed reviews about it. But I figured that I might as well give it a try now that there's a buddy read. :)

Chapter 9

(view spoiler)[I feel really bad for Julie. Poor little darling. I really like her and her ability is interesting. I also love how protective Kate is of her :)

Kate explains that people with terminal diseases sometimes agree to become vampire servants in exchange of money for their family. She says "you let People kill you and use your body after deaht". Does that mean there's absolutely no part of your consciousness left? Nothing at all?
In any case, I don't think I would ever make a deal like that. You really can't know what they do with you, and ask you to do. What if they order you to kill ? I would hate to be a part of that, even though I would not be conscious of it.

The "evil man" who killed Kate's mother is obviously not dead yet. I'm sure he'll come back into play, if not in this volume, in the next. I wonder what he wanted from them. I have a hunch it has something to do with Kate specifically? I can't wait to learn more. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7

I love it when UF novels bring in mythology and folklore tales ! When I studied in Ireland I took a class on Irish epic tales and had to study Chu Culan. It's the first time I see it used in a book. It makes me happy and nostalgic of my time in Ireland!

Definitely joining this BR. Mid-June is fine for me :)
