Elen wrote: "Have you seen Pride and Prejudice and Zombies movie where Lily James is playing Elizabeth Bennet?I have seen the movie, but now I have to read it too :D"
Yes, I did. I didn't like it that much. Somehow, seeing it instead of reading it makes it a lot less funny and very kitsch. It's been a while now, but I think they changed a lot to the ending of the story, too.
I'd recommend you give it a try. I'm happy I did. :)
Jenny wrote: "Wasn't the scene between Elizabeth and Lady Catherine wonderful?"yes, this was just the best scene of the book. That and when they started arguing about the necessity of hiring ninjas. So funny!
Slytherpuff wrote: "Would be possible to read a book that doesn't start with a letter in the spell it out but has a character in it that works?"yes, absolutely :)
I finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies earlier. I'm shocked by how much I liked this book. The whole zombie thing was just absurd and it made for hilarious scenes. I had a good laugh with it. The good thing is that this book fits all of the bonuses, so we can just use it for whichever is more difficult to find for this round.

I have a feeling I will. I was a bit afraid because of the low ratings, but I guess we can blame the haters who didn't even read the book.
"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possission of brains must be in want of more brains" -
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
lol
I've started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and I think I'm going to enjoy this really weird type of humour. That's good. I was scared I would hate it.

I'll have to check this one out for sure. BTW, I think I'm going to do a reread of Cut & Run soon. Maybe I can already start next week for som Z. :D
hey guys,I haven't posted any finished books since monday. Butt I swear I'm reading !
I just had the great idea to start multiple big books at the same time. I know it's dumb. Plus I've started my traineership at Waterstones (I get a huge discount on every book btw. yeah !!! ) and I still need to get used to the rythm. I'll try and finish at least one book this saturday, but I'm not sure which one yet.
These BOMs sound good. I might give them a try :)
