I think recommended by Ora.
Updated on SS

I finished Come Tumbling Down yesterday. I updated the SS but forgot to post here. I listened to the audiobook so used the default for page number.

I read some as an undergrad and it was very good. I always meant to go back and finish it. That was years ago so this might be the motivation I need to read it.

Would Malcom X work for X? I would think so but thought I would check. I have his autobiography and have been meaning to read it for years.

I’m on the app so couldn’t do the nice link. 😞

I’m at 50% so on track. I really didn’t expect that.

There is not a penalty for reading more than you signed up for. I have a feeling most people signed up for less than they will read. I signed up for what I read in April and May and that was half my pre COVID reading.

I think I’m going to remove my hold on Jetsetters. It wasn’t really a book I wanted to read anyway. I’ll read the YA instead.

It should be right now. I’ve not had that happen before.

Hi Navi, from team Murder on the Orient Express. I mostly listen to non-fiction but I really enjoyed
The Lost City of the Monkey God: A True Story which I think someone else also recommended. Similar to that is
The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon which was very good. It was more of an adventure nonfiction story. I got a little obsessed listening to it. Then there is
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks which if you haven't already read would be one I would really recommend and the audio was very good. And then there is
The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row which was hard to read but is relevant to events happening now. You probably have more recommendations that you expected but we all like books here.

I've got Jetsetters on hold and Five Feet Apart came in earlier than I expected. I now have three audiobooks and the commute I would listen to them on has turned into me being driven to work, since I was rear ended on my way home and my car is totaled. (There as been a lot of drama with cars here. After I was hit, someone stole the catalytic converter from my car and my partners car. He got a rental car and until his car is repaired I'm being driven to work.) This is why I've not been around on the thread.

Does anyone have a good way to search tags?
Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind has over 200 pages of tags and I don't want to do it page by page unless I have too.

I’ve checked and the July BOMs also are available only with hold at my library. Once I have a hold come in I’ll place the one I find most interesting on hold.

It is the same online library system then. Maybe your library owns a copy and mine doesn't.
