Ha! That's my first choice. I think it's the only Stephen King book I haven't read :o , It looks like they are making it into a movie starring Matthew McConaughey! I better get busy ;)

35559 As I am getting through my current book quicker than expected. I can take on the Western bonus book, I feel it's my obligation as a Texan ;D LOL.... Question is do I Read:
The Gunslinger (The Dark Tower, #1) by Stephen King The Gunslinger
Follow the Stone by John Locke Follow the Stone
Rebel of the Sands (Rebel of the Sands, #1) by Alwyn Hamilton Rebel of the Sands
Galloway by Louis L'Amour Galloway
??????
Anyone have a recommendation of these 4?

35559 Looking great everyone! Good morning ;)

So it looks like the last open ones in Main Labors are:
-Read a book that's title starts with S
-Read a book where the main character is a writer.
-Read a book where the main character is a musician.

Remaining open bonuses:
-Read a book with a "musical" theme. (Rockstar, Musician..)
-Read a "Western" or a book with Cowboys.

I am still plugging along at my 800 page book. I am hoping to get it finished over the next 2 days. I have the audio and ebook and am reading it at every opportunity. WHEW!

35559 I completed Dr. Gangrene's Tales from Parts Unknown and will be submitting our bonus labor for BONUS LABOR 3 - Similar items, Camilla and I completed the 3 book requirement with "Skulls on the Cover" of each of our books.

Bonus Labor 1 has one opening for Pink Text, if anyone has a book for this one, Then we can submit that one as well. Gea might be reading for this one. But she does not have it on her currently reading list.

Bonus Labor 2 only needs one more to submit as well. Camilla is reading for that one.

Great Job Polar Bears!!!!

The way I thought about it was that , we could use any book that we found inspirational. Even if a character in a fiction book inspired us. I think it will be fine.
Also, I'm going to look at the spreadsheet. I think I can do some rearranging and use your book for the treasure hunter task. I'd rather use the currently read books for tasks I know they fulfill. And when we open more bonuses, we will have more tasks to complete for the other books.
I didn't submit some books for flexibility within the tasks ;)

I put it under someone's spell, but it can also be used for the musician task. We have 2- Read a book where a main character is a musician. So I haven't officially submitted your book yet, as it can be moved around. No worries, it will be used. I'm just not sure if the spell task or the musician tasks will be easiest to fill.

I have found the following 3 options to tie into your Skull topic:
Frankenstein - Original 1818 Uncensored Version by Mary Shelley- Quick and classic
Dr. Gangrene's Tales from Parts Unknown by Larry Underwood and have started reading it. I think between your 2 and mine we can complete the bonus. I'm pretty sure you can even do an entire bonus by one member.

Thanks Fandury! I am guessing that no one else has found a book and would suggest you take it. I've read that book and thought it was pretty good. Long, but interesting! I'm still chugging through my 800+ page book... only 32% through. I'll still be a while too, so no worries if it takes you the week. We still have 13 days in the challenge. Then you can pick bonus books ;D

Is 9 Tales for the new bonus? The 3 similar one? Maybe I'll just borrow the same one. Would definitely be "similar" lol

35559 @Camilla Ok, let's see if someone else jumps in with us and we can narrow it down. I think any of yours could be tied in. So pick which you want to read and we can work around that one :)

I have found the following 3 options to tie into your Skull topic:

Frankenstein - Original 1818 Uncensored Version by Mary Shelley - Quick and classic

Sugar Skulls by Lisa Mantchev - Longer, but have been wanting to read.

Adventures In Human Being by Gavin Francis - no Skull, but maybe we can link with Skeleton or Bones. Bones would be most flexible.
