35559 I'm reading I promise! I've got 2 books under way, and should be finished with both today :)

been busy here (as always)... end of school year awards and ceremonies. Tomorrow I leave with my 13yr old to go to Kentucky for an Archery Tournament. My toughest decision is which audiobook we can both enjoy while in the car :D I'm hoping he will listen with me, otherwise I might have to one ear it or stick him in the back seat with headphones to a movie ...ha!

@Sara~ I'm on our thread every day... I'm just a better "listener" than poster ;)

35559 Definitely will add link at that time ;)

I really enjoyed this book. I plan on writing a lengthier review when i have a few minutes to expand on it.
I always enjoy Laini Taylor, I've read the Lips Touch: Three Times ; Night of Cake & Puppets ; Dreams of Gods & Monsters and Days of Blood & Starlight.
This book is going to be a classic re-read for me. I feel like I could read this book again and feel like it was a different experience. I say this one is a bit different style than her other books, feeling like a Neil Gaiman, JR Tolkin. Much like the Hobbit, this book has so many details and characters that you can get lost in the fantasy of it all.
Overall, I felt this book was good vs evil. Yet... who was good and who was evil? Very interesting how my opinion of that changed and evolved throughout this book...
In summary a solid 4 to 4.5 stars! Why not 5? yep, it's a cliffhanger. Must wait until The Muse of Nightmares comes out!

No Worries! I've got it loaded and ready for starting... Until then I've been listening to my audible shorties. (since they never count for challenges)

I'm planning on reading:
Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1) by Laini Taylor
Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane
First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1) by Darynda Jones

I'm doing other challenges at the same time, so I'm trying to maximize my reading list ;)

I don't work, so I guess that's the main reason. But I listen to them all day long while I'm working around the house. Also, you can change the speed on the books. I can usually listen at 1.25 or 1.5 x's the speed. Normal speed seems so slow now....
If you have a long commute to work, that's a good time too.
