Did you finished Behind Her Eyes? I don't see it on the BOOKS READ thread or the team spreadsheet!

LOL she's been busy at work today and unable to get on Goodreads... or chat with me on Google Hangouts like we do every other day. *sad*
35559 Per your spoilers... yeah, stubborn isn't a strong enough word... for Kate OR for Curran!!!

I totally agree, the author really does a good job making you feel something there! I think most people can relate to that feeling, too.

Understatement of the year! haha!

COOL! They're dangerous, those moosen! :P

(If you don't get the "moosen" joke, check out Brian Regan's comedy sketch about being stupid in school: Stupid in School ... so funny!)

35559 Erin, there's an page count on the edition you tagged now, so if you'd like to post it to the books read thread, I'll add it to the team spreadsheet. :)

Looks to me like I asked a co-captain her opinion in a thread marked specifically for team Hermione Granger, but f you want to play Snape, go ahead.

There's also a moon on the cover! Sonia, will this work for Astronomy or is it ONLY in the title?

35559 So, Friday I took the day off and took my Lobster (the hubby) on a day of FUN! He's been out of work since February, and was starting to get down because of the job hunt and being stuck in the house with not much to do. He started his new job today, so for his last day off, I wanted to do something awesome.

I got up early and went to get donuts from this local place that is AMAZING (Duck Donuts) and surprised him by coming back instead of being at work!

Then I took him to an escape room. We got to do it just the two of it. We escaped!

Then we met our friend Amy and her two kids Olivia (6) and Liam (4) for lunch at Olivia's school (and surprised her! she loved it!).

After that we went to see Deadpool 2, which was really funny.

To end the day, i took him to a restaurant we hadn't tried before. He loves to try new places (and is an elite Yelper, so he loves to write reviews of places).

Then we got up Saturday and drove four hours to our friend's family's house where there was a huge 40th birthday bash for said friend. We stayed up way too late and then had to drive back yesterday.

I didn't get much reading done overall, but had a great past few days. I also convinced the Lobster to listen to the audiobook for Skinwalker by Faith Hunter on the 8 hours of driving we had to do. We got through half of the book, and he's hooked. I'm so excited about that because I've been trying to get him to read more (and to read more UF!) forever. :)

I want to read Leah on the Offbeat (because I adored Simon vs.) but I read Red Sister earlier this year so can't (and won't) read it again so soon. It was REALLY good, though, so I'd highly recommend it!!!

35559 I'm reading the Trials of Apollo as well, which would work with prophecy/foresight/divination/etc :)

You can go ahead and start and comment and discuss. I've already finished this one and am just waiting for people to discuss with :)

35559 And I’ve already started a second! I’m drowning in them so they’re planned reads already anyways, so we can use mine or use the ones I read for other slots as needed.

I’ll catch up on everything I missed this weekend tomorrow morning. I need to sleep! But I had an awesome weekend. I’ll recap it tomorrow :)

35559 Erin, good luck with the Suicide Forest book. Not a fan. Great concept, great setting, boring execution and the author is kind of a douche.
