Sophie, I have a question for you...

My task is "Read a book shelved (listed on the first page on GR) as brain-candy - plurals and spelling acceptable"

but I can't find a single book on the page for https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...
that has brain-candy on the first page of tags...

Does this mean I *have* to skip?

Kristie, you'll still have to enter a book manually, like usual. You can put in the first title (The Wishing Game) and the details for that, then hit the submit button. I usually put "(SKIP)" behind the title so I remember that's one I used a skip on.

Survived another Tower Teams! And really enjoyed playing with everyone. Sorry I wasn’t as talkative as usual, nor as prolific a reader. For those of you that this is your first time with me, I apologize you didn’t get super fun Steven. If we end up on a team again, I hope I can live up to my reputation! lol

The wedding was decent. Most of us were miserably hot but Tara said it was perfect, so I guess we did our jobs well!

Poor thing though, their honeymoon flight to Mexico was supposed to leave at 5am Sunday morning. The first leg to Miami happened, and then they were delayed multiple times and didn’t actually leave until today at 1pm. So they’ve missed a whole day of their honeymoon and the airline isn’t giving them anything other than the hotel, transport, and meal vouchers for having to stay overnight because of the delay. Absolutely absurd that the airlines can get away with such BS!

Finished my last book for the challenge and posted all the info for it. Please use it where it will fill in best! It can be an N for the color tower spell out, or multiple others. I've also posted the info for the one I finished Saturday.

I finished my Seanan book and it works for MOIST. I will type out the character names etc for spell outs when I get to my computer. Today is my bestie’s wedding so probably won’t have much computer time today if any

Just not feeling it right now. The obligation feeling is killing it. It's a reread of the first book so I can read the upcoming sequel. I loved it the first time. This time, I'm strugglebussing.

I'm not really feeling my 600+ pager, but I need to read it bc of ARCs. *sigh* I might take it off of the spreadsheet and read it in bits and bobs up rather than put on pressure to finish it before the end of the challenge. If so, I'll add something else to read so I can get in at least one more book before the challenge ends.

Finished a book for defenestration and put the justification in there. :D

Gonna try really hard to finish up that 656 page book before the end of the month. *fingers crossed*

There’s a Chuck Wendig book called Zeroes, a techno thriller about a team of hackers. I haven’t read it yet, but I like most of Wendig’s other books so it probably wouldn’t be a bad read.

I knew that she had been fighting something bad but last I had seen was positive news. Then like a week before she passed I saw bad news and I was shocked. I’m glad I still have plenty of her books to read for the first time. She was very talented.

If you haven’t read Great Library, bump it up your list. It’s absolutely fantastic.

Omg has it already been 3 years? Devastated when she died. Her Library series is absolutely amazing. I want to reread it sometime if I can ever make it through these ARCs

Hard to find an exact #11. I don't think I have any #11s available. I'm still slogging through my super long books. I have so many ARCs, I'm gonna cry. And most of them aren't in series at all so don't help with that part LOL

Sonia is the Defenestrator, so if it's a book she's read, then we can connect it to her. Cat approved of a similar book for Sonia's sake - "Per Sonia, aka the Defenestrator, not reading Kate Daniels is a cause for defenestration"

So I think reading a book connected to Sonia counts X) X)
