Awesome reading everyone. I am busy reading my books. I should finish a couple today or tomorrow.

Discussion Questions - Day 1


1) This is not a book I would’ve picked up on my own, and from the beginning I felt very strongly that I’m not the target (age) group, so I’m extra curious how I’m going to feel about this. Had you heard about this book before it was chosen as BOM? What were your expectations going in?

I probably would not have chosen this book if it wasn't a BOM. Going in I am curious to meet the Charlotte character as I am close to her age.

2) I was surprised to see that the POVs rotates. Somehow the blurb made me think the whole book would be from Charlotte’s POV. Whose POV are you enjoying the most so far? Who is your favorite character?

I really don't like any of the characters.

3) While Charlotte is supposedly the closest to Regan out of all her kids, their POVs show that they actually resent each other the most out of any of our four main characters. I can understand where Regan’s coming from, but Charlotte’s dislike of Regan so far is quite a mystery to me. What do you think is at the core here?
I think that Charlotte most likely sees herself in her younger daughter and has higher exceptions for her. They both married difficult husbands and perhaps she hoped Regan would do more with her life.

4) What do you think will happen on the trip? Will they even do the whole thing? Who will be the first to pack their bags and run back home? Which secrets will come out first?

I do think they will finish the cruise and hopefully start to forgive each other for being human. Maybe Regan will kill Matt! : )

I like to leave a few choices open , so I can fill in any gaps. I placed 3 books on the ss. After I finish those I will see what we need. : )

Lucy, my daughter is a Pediatric nurse who works nights. They have a BMT unit in her hospital and she works there. I have some good friends who live in Teddington , I have been to London 4 times... Love it.

I live in Colorado and I love team games. I am retired and enjoy playing tennis when I am not reading : ) A few of us have been on teams before and I think we have an awesome team. I am busy looking for books to read for this challenge. I mostly read mystery, thriller and Science Fiction/Fantasy. I will read most anything for a challenge.

I am confused, when is the deadline.? I finished a few books o my trip, can I add them or am I too late?
