That's great news Monica!
I know that not everyone can read fast and don't have much free time for reading. I would hate to see all your hard work go to waste. (Because I don't know if you are aware but the rules say that individuals who fall 3 books behind will be removed from the team.)

33903 Linda thank you for posting the shelf.

Sorry I didn't check in sooner. My kid got an ear infection so he is super cranky. Plus my mother came for a visit.
I finished the book for gulty pleasures shelf. I just need undisturbed time on a pc to write a review and browse the new shelf to find a book to read. If not today then tomorrow I promise.
I'll update the master list then too.

I sent a pm to Monica a couple of days ago to check how is she and on her book progress, but she didn't respond yet.

As for Nora Roberts. I will check out the books you recomended and see if something looks interesting. Who knows maybe even I fit it into favorite series shelf. ;)

33903 Lovely review Jennifer. Can you believe it I never read anything by Nora Roberts. What would you recomend as a good introduction to her?

33903 Iron Kissed (Mercy Thompson, #3) by Patricia Briggs
Book: Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs
Read: 27. Jan. 2017.
Rating: 5 stars
Spot: Paranormal Romance
How it fits: shelved 469 times as Paranormal Romance

After two books you could already call me a slight Mercy Thompson addict, but after Iron Kissed my addiction is a sure thing.

What did I think?
+ All the things I liked about this series are still there: Nicely written. No info dumps. Addictive. Like-able characters.
+ The world building gets more complex, with fae characters and their background and history added to the mix.
++ The love triangle gets finally resolved!!!
+ The ending. Last 20% are so intense and full of emotion...
-? The ending. Did all that s**t really have to happen? :(

Iron Kissed and I will probably will always have a love-hate relationship. It really hit me in the feelz. Why do all the characters I love get to suffer? Is Patricia Briggs related to George R.R. Martin?

An awesome uf series nevertheless. Highly recommended.

I liked Iron Kissed very much. Just be aware that it's a third book in a series. I hope you have read previous two, because the events continue...
