Nici’s comments from the SOS: Serious Overload of Series group.

I finished A Blood Seduction for the cover love shelf on 6/26 and I give it four stars. I am a big fan of Pamela Palmer and her other series, so I had high expectations for this book. I must admit though that throughout the book I felt like something was missing. I actually felt like this read like a first novel that an author had written, not so much like something an established author had penned. That being said, I still enjoyed the book and will continue with the series.

I finished The Rising for the strong heroines shelf on 6/20 and give it five stars. Really interesting to see how she brought in characters from two other series into this book. I really love Kelly Armstrong and this is another great book by her. I do believe this finishes her series for this group of kids, but I look forward to seeing what she does next.

I finished Touch of Power on 6/12 and give it five stars. I loved it so much I have already checked out and read the next one in the series! Too bad the third one isn't out. This author has become one of my favorite authors. Great book, wonderful characters and world building. Really felt for the main character and can see why this was shelved under book boyfriends lol

I finished Retribution for the assassins shelf on 6/3 and give it three stars. It's a good story, but this series has started to annoy me. It's like every book you read their is this new big bad thing that is impossible to kill but wait here is this big thing that can trump it! I don't know, I guess for me this is a series that I should put down but feel obligated to finish. That being said, it wasn't a bad story at all, I enjoyed the introduction of native american myths in it.

for the assassins shelf i will read Retribution. I am glad this works, trying to finish up the series.

I finished on 4/11 and give it five stars. Love this book and the series too. The end is a real cliff hanger, I can't wait to pick up the next book. It's really well written and fast pace

Is anyone else in a position to win?

ok ok lol. The world building went smoothly, I can't wait to read more to find out about the different cities and what is behind the swamp.
