I read Fall of Night for the supernatural shelf and finished on 8/1. I give it five stars. This is a world that I am very familiar with and felt comfortable reading about, having read the rest of the series. The author is good about being this far into a series and still keeping things consistent. While reading this book i honestly thought I was reading the last in the series, things were seeming to tie up towards then end, but then BAM great big cliff hanger grabbed my unexpectedly! I will be looking for the next book.

I read Chosen By Blood for the paranormals shelf on 7/24 and give it five stars. I found the book to be really interesting and look forward to reading the rest of the series. I found the character buildup to be intimate and intense, feeling like I was able to really learn not just about the main characters but the secondary characters again. Glad I read this book.

oops! i thought i had posted my alien book! Now I am here to review it and realize I hadn't. Sorry friends! Anywhere, my book for the alien shelf is Hunting Julian and I give it four stars. I finished it 7/19. I was really hesitant about this book, not a big alien fan, but I really liked it. I think that there could have been more time spent on Earth though, developing backgrounds and that some areas seemed like they could go further in depth. Overall, I liked it.

I finished Sever on 7/11 and give it three and a half stars. I like the world a lot, love the characters as well.I just feel like the ending was a bit too abrupt, I also would have enjoyed learning more about the chemical garden. I mean, it is what the entire series is called, but it only gets the barest of mentions.

i will be reading Sever for distopian shelf. If I can get it at the library tomorrow morning.

Finished My Soul to Steal on 7/4 for the demons and angels shelf. I give it four stars. Quick and easy read with an entertaining story line and interesting characters. I like the typical teen age drama (he likes her more then me!) combined with the hell world.

finished Heart of Obsidian on 7/3 and give it five stars! This is for the free shelf. I love this author and will continue to devour both her series as they come out. In this book, I loved seeing one of the former councilmen become more human, in the past books he has seemed so cold, silent, but this is his story and it is so well told. I also enjoyed seeing the other characters from past books come together.

I have changed my free space book to Heart of Obsidian
