Kindle vellas are just a money-making scam run by amazon :(

I came across a kindle vella from a popular author, and every single review I read, said they'd read the 1st ep loved the story but hated vella, and nearly all decided to wait for the full book to come out; which its now done.

So alienating your target audience isn't a good thing.

Laura, I read up to book 6 in Cassie Palmer then there was a big time gap and whilst I bought the next 2, I haven't read them yet.

I remember really enjoying them, but they get progressively more involved.

Have you read any of the Dorina Basarab series, set in the same world, some characters overlap, first one ?
