Princess Jayne Frost, daughter of the Elvish Winter King, is sent undercover to the Santa's Workshop store in Nocturne Falls.

There've been some disturbing events in the past 2.5 yrs, 6 elves have gone missing, presumed to have quit but all their belongings remained behind, including a kitten from the last elf.

So Jayne becomes Lillibeth Holiday wearing a magical disguise, to find out what's really going on. She meets her ex, a summer elf, a very charming vampire, several employees, including the boss Tolys, a famous tinker of toys. The race is on to find out what is going on.
