On January 22, 2009, Holbrooke was appointed as a special adviser on Pakistan and Afghanistan, working under President of the United States Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.I watched his interview by Charlie Rose this morning and was impressed. I highly recommend watching it if you are interested in what is going on with Afghanistan and the War on Terror with the change in government.
