let's not forget motherwell and scotland,,,,,,,,and liverpool legend ian st. john. the rarest of things - a footballer with a personality!

"Johnny Briggs rasta album was legendary"
johnny too bad! would that be 'we're gonna chase those crazy baldwins outta town'?

there'll be a re-union of the wailers on holy mount zion..........oh, wait, that's right, bob bailed out and is somewhere else!

the harmony in my head this a.m. is 'harmony in my head' by the buzzcocks. morphing into 'fiction romance' by same.

ha ha,cool!
one that gets in there more often than you might think is 'seasons in the sun'! fine.

i often have a song enter my head in the half hour between my getting up (no later than 6am) and preparing mrs t for work. often it's good, but 'the lambeth walk'? ffs, not putting a link up, no-one deserves that!
it should be noted that now, the song in my head is 'i would gladly pay you tuesday for a hamburger today'. and you wonder how i turned out like this?

spent most of today, retaining a philly lawyer to help me set up my seller account on 'discogs', christ, that as rigorous - but hey ho, i'll be open for business when i've got the energy to grade and price stuff. don't think i'm being unrealistic about asking £500 for t.g.'s 'we hate you....', seeing it's practically mint, having been stored in the sleeve of '2nd annual report' for 42 years.
this is a money making project, but when it's up and running properly, and you are desirous of any item (yeah, yeah, one at a time please!), a personal goodreads message will be worth a discount rate.......but yer still paying postage!

amazon.co.uk/Studio-Kinda-Cloudy-Huds...killer comp of keith hudson productions, fat with material from ken boothe, horace andy, and version plenty deejay takes from dennis alcapone, uroy, jah woosh, etc, and the odd dub. hudsonic!

"the nuns beating it into us"
oooh, my! what a treat!
(other psychopathic religious zealots are available)

when did voldemort get a tank?

glad you cleared that up!
what else?
Flight - A Certain Ratio
Honey Bee (Let's Fly To Mars) - Grinderman
Flight Of The Heron - Michael Marra & The Hazey Janes
High Flyin' Baby - Flamin' Groovies
Glide In - Prisma
Human Fly - The Cramps

thing is, 'motley crue(crew)' wouldn't be an unrealistic title for a dr feelgood album!
surprise
amazon.co.uk/CARNAGE-Explicit-Nick-Wa...unspeakably good! tbh, if this had stank, i'd be canvassing for ellis to be punted. clearly, though, the two are on another creative high.
predicting that his next album will be 'grinderman 3'

shame. not many got to that age, mind,..................as i would tell you!

well, it cannae be a 'roll in scrambled egg', as this suggests that the roll is enclosed in the centre of the scrambled egg - messy!

"Us Scots eh!" - pedantry spoiler follows,
it's actually 'roll and scrambled egg' which in the beautiful lowland tongue comes out as 'roll 'n' scrambled egg'. or even roll 'n' scramult egg.
i'm glad that's sorted

yeah, it's good and i like it, but feels like a move toward early suicide (who were peerless), considering he'd already moved away from that style when he started his solo career. apart from the first 2 suicide and first 3 solo albums, there's a lot of dodgy crap peppered around his career. it's good and i like it, but would need a whole album runthrough to decide. it's hard to live up to being involved in such an iconic record like 'suicide' as a debut, and then go forward. same condition ramones suffered from.

my nomination is dedicated to you 😈

i just read the last post, silly me! what am i going to do about the settee i destroyed in frustration?
Proserpina
See Emily Play
Bloody Mother Fucking Asshole

what? has it already been blackballed? in the name of decency, then, i'll delete. but censorship dictates we now don't have the full deck to play with.

yeah, 'white elephant' is outstanding, harking back to 'abattoir blues' in feel. i can find no fault with the album after just 2 runthroughs, blows away the ghosteens of the past for sure!
physical editions out on 28th may.
