i know very little of tsom after 'floodland', but the totp clip for 'more' sucks hugely. i see eldritch was suffering from 'astbury syndrome' at the time, the 'i so much wanna be a huge RAWK star' condition that so many previously decent to brilliant bands got infected with. another strain of the disease is 'gillespie's mainstream peculiarity'.

not often i don't have an answer re the dolls, but i have no idea. i really don't think they'd have been remixed, re-mastered mibbe, and these discs are pre-re-mastered, as you say, for promo/review purposes.

if you ever feel the need to sell, can i have first refusal?

innaresting! i assume they stem from rhino's re-issues from 2007? i foolishly didn't buy any from that issue, content with the vinyl. d'oh! hard to say what they're worth, but £2 each is solid value.

the first two are no question 5 star albums, the 3rd mibbe 4 at best and the 4th should have been jackie leven's first solo record. if it had i'd have liked it better!

but here's a thing - you know i own a 7" of th* r*ll*ng st*n*s 'sympathy for the devil'? well, it's the b-side to 'honky tonk women', and i thought i'll get rid of it for a poond or such, but when i entered details into database, it invited me to price it at £140!!!!!, due to colour of label and 'decca' logo. treble checked to find it so. jings, if anyone's mad enough, i'll take it gladly!
