Wistful noticed Okapi on the ledge. Then she got Basil out of his cage. "Who's the best little pet ever! You are, yes, you're so much better than sloths!" She cooed softly. "Hello, clawmate. I can tell from those pictures you live in Possibility. I always wonder what it's like living in such a unified place, with every single tribe by your side, sorta like here but you live with the other tribes, too." Wistful said after feeding Basil some plum and spinach.
"Marine, Seagrass, who told you Rainwings are stupid?" Salmon asked, dumbfounded her little dragonets were tribist. But they had already left.
Seagrass began to walk back to her cave. "Hey, before you go, can you tell me about your new friends?" Salmon asked her. "I thought you knew me." Seagrass grumbled. "But don't you want to at least be friends with your clawmates? Get to know them?" Salmon pressed. "I already know them. One's a dumb Rainwing and the other's an angry Icewing." Seagrass snarled.
Wistful entered and placed Basil's cage on a small table near her hammock. Then she laid down to read a scroll she brought from home.

"Don't you think you could've been nicer to Cirrus, Seagrass?" Salmon asked her. "What, and start some sort of stupid friendship? Look, I love you and all that stuff, but that's the opposite of me, and you can't change that." She responded eventually. Salmon sighed. "You're too much like your father." She said. "I mean, you're saying that's a bad thing? You're his mate, afterall. I reckon you should be glad I inherited the whole 'emotions that aren't disappointment' thing from your side and the able-to-defend-myself from his." Seagrass said. "I swear, one day, you're going to be the death of me."
"You're Cirrus, or you're fierce and awesome? Because your tone of voice doesn't sound like either." Seagrass snarled. Salmon punched her in the shoulder, mostly lightly. "Oh, I'M SORRY! Let me rephrase! I didn't mean that your voice was bad. I'm just saying it doesn't sound fierce and awesome."
"Are you Cirrus? Because the only thing I heard about her was that she was, quote 'awesome and fierce' and all Icewings look the same." Seagrass asked.
Salmon patted Egret on the head affectionately. "Mother, do you know where Cirrus is?" Seagrass asked suddenly. "North's kid? No, I haven't seen her. Is she your friend? Because I'm glad you made one so quickly!" Salmon responded. Seagrass shook her head. "I don't really know her. I just heard of her." Seagrass said. Her usual grumpiness was still there, but her not saying an insult was odd.
"Fierce, eh? I'll meet her. My mother is in the teacher brake room, too."
"Uh, I'm Salmon and these are my dragonets, Marine, Seagrass, Egret. I'm teacher of biology." Salmon introduced a bit nervously.
Seagrass also entered. She slouched on a seat next to Salmon.
Salmon walked in and rested. The rebellious student, Deathflight, had tired her out and she needed to sit down. "Hello everyone!" She breathed cheerfully.
Yup! I really like Egret. Also, can all the siblings have this little piece of jewelry that Salmon gave them? Marine and Seagrass having bracelets and Egret having an anklet?

"That's relieving. Now I'll tell you." Seagrass said. "My mother is a very kind soul. My father, the completely different. It's an example of opposites attract, I suppose. He taught me Rainwings were horrible. He changed my sweet, happy dragonet side into who I am today. But as much as I'd hate to admit it, he meant well. He wanted to turn me into someone who could defend herself, so that I wouldn't have the flaws of my mother. But he took it too far. And I don't regret who I turned into. This is who I am, and now I won't change it for any dragon. I guess that's what makes me Current's daughter." Seagrass finished.
"Don't bring my mother into this! It's not her fault for anything! And if you would just listen to me, I could tell you why I'm like this. And maybe we can resolve this issue. Just don't do anything to my mother. Or my brother, for that matter." Seagrass said, but the usual anger and grumpiness in her voice was replaced with worry.
Also, the reason why she hates Rainwings is because her dad is tribist, not her mom. Salmon doesn't know Current is tribist because he developed the hate for Rainwings after they mated.
Yeah!
