Four books, actually....the one I'm working on right now is the second, and it's pretty dark too...the whole thing is just getting progressively darker as it goes. So. If you think the snippets I'm sharing now are dark....JUST YOU WAIT XD

No one came to find her. She would’ve been surprised if they had. But the aching loneliness did not fade, and the terrible, terrible grief continued to rear its ugly head over her. Towering as high as the ceiling of this library, preparing to strike.
A living, sentient being.

She sat up and rubbed her arm, fastened the sling on tighter, and tried to sink back into the bliss of unconsciousness. People talked about sleep being a time when nothing was present except nothing. A chance to rest away from the world for a little while.
Evidently these were people who had never had nightmares.
