Dresden Files - I love this series so much and I'm so sad the author is having troubles... Murphy used to be one of my favorite characters but in the later books she really has gotten on my nerves. Not sure where this series is going.

I also liked his other series... the Cinder Spires. " The Aeronaut’s Windlass" was a great start but who knows when the next book comes out! Very sad.

My Best Books for 2018: I didn't get to read as many books as I intended... but I read some good ones...

My favorite author Ilona Andrews had a big year: Magic Triumphs, Iron Magic, Diamond Fire & Sweep of the Blade were all 5 star for me.

Burn Bright by Patricia Brigg & Marked by Benedict Jacka were also 5 star.

I loved all of the Innkeeper stories. Ilona Andrews can do no wrong!(imho). I wonder if the next one will be about the brother and they find the parents. :-)

Just got back from southern Italy - great trip!! I was only able to read 2 books. was good but not as good as the other series "Golgotha". The other book was . This was awesome!! Love this author, Alex Bledsoe. His other series is top rate also "Tufa".

I'm also enjoying Ilona Andrews "Sweep of the Blade". Next in line is the next Eddie LaCrosse novel, .

Reading Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox. It's ok so far...

Melindeeloo - The "Cast In" series was one of my favorites. However by book 8 & 9 I lost interest. The journey to the West March did me in. The author ruined one of my favorite characters... sort of like Faith Hunter.

Just bought ! Can't wait to read.

Reading the and it's getting good... although I'm really disliking Quinn! Poor Blay, he really got a crappy partner. Surprisingly, I'm starting to like Leila. Well, I'll see how it goes... not sure how Ward will be redeeming Xcor.

I love the October Daye series but don't like the new pricing!!! The 11th book is still $12.99!! I refuse to read it at that price so it's still languishing on my wish list.

I really liked this book and I didn't expect it! I didn't like Hugh so why would I want to read a book about him. I'm glad I looked at the good reviews and changed my mind. I loved getting information from Hugh's POV on Kate, Roland, Voron etc... and the cameo's of Ascanio, Andrea & Rafael. Gotta love Bucky (sort of reminded me of Blossum) I hope the little girl comes back in the next book. Can't wait!!
