Yes, even though I have slowed down I have not quit. I still love to read but now I don't get a chance during the day everyday. I always read a chapter or two before bed. That is why I feel I slowed down because a chapter or two before bed (not always enough in a good book), I just have not had as much time during the day as I would like. I think things will even out soon.

I read several books at once because I like the variety. I just started this one and so far it is good!
...So far this book is interesting

New thread for 2019 Please advertise any books here.

How has everyone's 2019 been going so far? Any news you want to share in your life? We bought a new camper this year and I hope to use it soon.

I have been slowing down on my reading. I need to get back in the groove again.

I will add some I have been wanting to read.

I just bought

I suggest When Saigon Surrendered: A Kentucky Mystery
and the sequel is very good too: The Cumberland Killers: A Kentucky Mystery
page-turners

My nominations are: Sabriel by Garth Nix, Cry of The Icemark by Stuart Hill, and Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake.
Each of these books have very strong protagonists with amazing character development. The magic structure of each world is very unique. These are books that you will never forget.

Are we allowed to suggest our own books please? I am trying to achieve fifty reviews by the time I am fifty, (end of July 2019) #50by50 and so this would be a great help to me. But aside from that, I have been working to get honestly generated reviews for my short horror story collection, Wakeful Children, for the last two years. As any indie will tell you, that is probably the hardest part of self-publishing. Unfortunately I can only offer a very limited amount of free paperback books, though I can send any number of free digital books at this stage, should anyone be interested. Thank you for considering me.
