Welcome all! Can you believe we are almost halfway thru this year???

Any suggestions are welcome here!

I am so glad so many of you like When Saigon Surrendered. I have been trying to get to this book to read as will. I didn't make a separate thread because these are the two books we voted on for our group read #8. We can discuss both here or just one, either way will work.

Pat, I did see that book on Amazon. I have not yet read it either. I will try to get to it and buy it. I hope you feel better soon.

I got back from Destin, it was a busy beach with very little in the way of shells. I did enjoy the dolphins all over the place. They were jumping after boats and in the waves. I saw one jump so close to shore it was very exciting. I really love dolphins, so it was the best part of the trip for me!

I am getting ready to go to the beach with my mom, on a Mother, Daughter trip. I have been to several beaches in Florida but have not visited Destin so I hope this beach is as good as the reviews I have read. Has anyone been to Destin?

I have a few movies coming out this year I am looking forward to like Toy Story 4. Anyone else have any they are looking forward too?

I loved the Bumblebee movie so much! It was great. I want to own it! I also love the Pitch Perfect movies.

Any ideas on a new theme read??
