I am claiming 2 points for finishing Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog: The Book. I got this last year for the sheet music, had some fun with that, and then set it aside to read other things. I was glad to get back to it, and now I want to watch the DVD with the commentary turned on.

This is for rescuing a book that does not qualify for one of the prompts. It should also be noted that you can complete each prompt only once, so if you have already completed the prompt that the book qualifies for, you will need to post it here instead.

Well, at least it doesn't sound like it's a huge time investment, so maybe you can release it before it gets too comfortable in your house.

Finish a book that you most recently abandoned sometime before 2010. (I realize not everybody keeps track of exactly when they abandon a book, so you're on your honor to use your best judgment.)

Finish a book that you abandoned (at least a month previously) in hopes that you would later be in a more suitable mindset to enjoy it.

Finish any book that you abandoned (for at least a month) because you had anticipated a different reading experience from it. This is another really subjective prompt, but ask if you would like some examples from the group.

Finish reading a book (abandoned for at least one month) that is part of a series. It doesn't matter if you have read anything else in the series or if you have any plans to do so. Goodreads is usually pretty good about indicating which books belong to series, but if you have any questions, just ask in the thread.

Finish a book that you most recently abandoned in 2015. (I realize not everybody keeps track of exactly when they abandon a book, so you're on your honor to use your best judgment.)

Finish reading a book (abandoned for more than a month) that was a gift to you. Winning it as a prize also counts.

Finish any book that you abandoned (for at least one month) because you were having issues with the language. This is really subjective, but here are a few examples:
- It seems like an inferior translation
- The author uses technical jargon that is new to you
- You're reading it in a language you are not fluent in
- You are frustrated with poor editing
- The author's style is more poetic/flowery/vulgar/stream-of-consciousness/experimental/whatever than you are comfortable with

Finish a book that you have abandoned two or more times, with each abandonment period having lasted at least one month. If you haven't kept track of the timing exactly, just use your best judgment.

Finish a book that you abandoned (at least one month previously) in order to lend it, give it away, or release it into the wild. You may, of course, obtain a different copy of the book.

Finish a book that you started and abandoned (at least one month previously) in a different format. For the purposes of this challenge, all e-readers are considered the same format and all audio platforms are considered the same format. Generally speaking, ink-and-paper books would all be considered the same format, but prose and graphic novel would be considered different formats.

Finish any book that you lost or misplaced -- or, oh, I don't know, packed for a move and still haven't unpacked it -- at least one month previously. You are not required to actually locate the copy you lost. I'm not that cruel.

Finish listening to a book (abandoned for at least one month) in any audio format. It's okay if you started the book in a non-audio format, but you may want to save that one for G-1.

Rescue any book from abandonment after one month.

Read at least another 50 pages of an abandoned (for at least one month) book before giving up on it completely. (For formats without pagination, use your best judgment.)

Finish a book (abandoned for at least one month) written by an author who identifies as female. If the book has more than one author, at least 50% of the authors must be female(s).

Finish a book that you were at least halfway through when you abandoned it (at least one month previously).
