"They can't reach us in here anyway." Freddie said, broomstick still pointed at the stranger's throat.

Freddie smiles back, then he focuses his attention back on the intruder. "Answer me!" Freddie yelled, pointing his broomstick towards the intruder.

Freddie groaned. He walked back in front of Lacy, ready to take on any man trying to hurt her. He hadn't known Lacy for a long time, but he was loyal and protective. No was going to hurt her. "Who are you?" Freddie asked, repeating Lacy's question.

It's easy. You can roleplay in first or third person, but most people prefer third person. When typing dialogue, just use " and end it with ".

I'm in love with your character. The only thing I would change is tell us more about how the apocalypse has affected her so far.
