The second in the Percy Jackson series. Another good YA series to get into. It helps me brush up on my Greek Mythology.

An interesting fact about you: I worked full time and went to law school at night for four years, mostly because I thought it would be interesting

Not his best work, in my opinion. Several people that I know really liked this book. I just couldn't get into it.

I agree!! This was a fantastic book. Have you read other books by Chris Bohjalian? There are several very good ones--Midwives, Before You Know Kindness are some of my favorites.

Yeah, you probably want to stay away from this book unless you REALLY like the author. Fast paced, quick read but pretty lame.
