Very quirky but good book.

Leslie, I totally agree about Lies My Teacher Told Me. Give me more things my teacher got wrong, not repeated lectures about history being taught incorrectly.

2051 48. The Accidental Time Machine - Joe Haldeman

Clever time traveling story

2051 Cassidy, I strongly recommend the other two books in the First Law series. I thought the first book was the best but they are all great. The author has a new book coming out this summer that is set in the same world--I'm definitely going to pick it up!

2051 41. So Much Damn Money - Robert Kaiser

Well researched book about the rise of money and lobbying in U.S. government in the last 30 years. It might frustrate you but well written book by a Washington Post reporter.

2051 Stephanie, I have to agree. I forced my way through the DaVinci Code. A friend of mine told me that Angels and Demons was SOOOO good so I gave it a try. Ugh--should've known better. That's it for me with Dan Brown.

2051 40. The Ha-Ha A Novel - Dave King

It was okay. I liked the character in Howard and would like to read more about him but this particular story was missing something. Anyone else read this book?

2051 39. The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon - Stephen King

A nice little story about a girl lost in the woods and how her favorite baseball player, Tom Gordon, and the Boston Red Sox games on the radio help her through her journey.
