Jan 10, 2011 05:35AM

2051 Thanks!! It'll definitely be a busy year! I'm really excited to finally read all of these though - they've all been sitting on my bookshelf for some time now beckoning me! I'm probably going to have to do one of these every year for the next 5 or 10 years to finish up all the books I own! haha Anyway, thanks for the encouragment - are you doing a 50 book challenge this year as well?

2051 I've already picked out my first 25 from books that I own that I haven't read yet (in an attempt to also save money this year!) I'm also in a book club, and we meet approximately every two weeks, so I figure that will give me about another 25 books to read in 2011!

So, my list of 25 that I already own include...

2051 Name: Carrie
Where do you live: Lockport, NY
Age (Optional): 25
What are you studying/What are you working as: I have a degree from Niagara University in Communications and I'm currently working at the Niagara County Board of Elections
What makes you happy: My husband, family, friends, my cat, reading (obviously), sunshine, blue gatorade, a good concert, picnics...the list could go on and on and on...
What are you listening to now/have listened to last: I'm just burning James Morrison's Undiscovered onto my itunes list right now!
An interesting fact about you: I publicly fell down a flight of steps today in the rain and got soaking wet and quite a large welt and gash on my shin. It was pretty funny and I kinda wish someone had videotaped it, I could be on America's Funniest Home videos and win some money!
Favourite place to be: on vacation, anywhere. I looove traveling.
Favorite lyric: "dance your cares away, CLAP CLAP, worries for the another day, let the music play..." just kidding. I don't know, I like a large variety of music!
Favourite book: The Harry Potter series is probably my most loved
Favourite movie: Dirty Dancing!! It's been my go-to movie since I was about 7 years old

RECOMMEND TO THE GROUP
1. A film: Avatar, in my opinion, was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. If you're up in the air about whether to rent it or not, do it!
2. A book: Persepolis. We just read it for our book club and all loved it!
3. A song: "You and Me" by the Dave Matthews Band
4: A band: Kings of Leon
