201767 Hey Guys,

First of all my apologies for being so late with this post. I know February is only two days away and I haven't announced which Peter Pan books are going to be included in next month!

There are so many amazing Peter Pan retellings that is was very difficult to choose and to narrow it down to a reasonable amount for a month that only consists of 28 days.

Because there are so many retellings of Peter Pan. And honestly, I just couldn't choose, there are a total of 6 retellings on this list. So you guys should absolutely not feel obligated to try and read all of these books, but just pick the ones you would like to read most. If this works we will be doing this more in the upcoming months.

The Peter Pan retellings for February are:
Never Never by Brianna Shrum
The Child Thief by Brom
Unhooked by Lisa Maxwell
Second Star by Alissa B Scheinmel
Lost Girl by Chanda Hahn
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

Which one(s) are you planning to read?
Have you already read any of these?
Which one(s) are you most excited about?

201767 It is almost the end of January. So time to look back on the cinderella month!

Which books have you read? What did you think of them? Which one did you like best? Wich one did you like least? Why? Which one was truest to the original cinderella story?
Throne of glass (3 new)
Jan 22, 2017 07:52AM

201767 I finished it today. Even though I liked it I didn't love it as much as I had hoped to. Because of all the hype this series has had on booktube, I think all that was possible was for a little let down.
I didn't really see the who cinderella aspect in this book, other than there was a prince involved and it took place in a castle. Okay and maybe Celaenas background did have a little bit of the Cinderella feel to it.
I think this book had lots of potential and I am curious to see where the rest of the series goes! But sometimes it just felt a little bit to unrealistic for my taste!

201767 Okay guys! I seriously need some help! I now have narrowed it down to 6 retellings! But I don't think I will be able to read 6 retellings plus the original story of Peter pan (which is also 220 pages long) in one month, do you think you guys will be able to?

The books that are currently on my list are:

Unhooked by Lisa Maxwell
Never Never by Brianna Shrum
The Child Thief by Brom
Second Star by Alyssa B. Sheinmel
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Lost Girl by Chanda Hahn

Which of these would you like to read?

201767 So the fairytale for the month of February is going to be:

PETER PAN!

Which Peter pan retellings do you guys want to read? There are so many, and February is a relatively short month!

201767 I finished this book last night and I thought it was highly enjoyable! At first I thought it would be very predictable but then things changed up a bit and now I am really looking forward to the rest of the series
As for the cinderella retelling; I do see the comparisons in the beautiful deesses and the hansome prince that is looking for a princes. But it didn't have the same feel to it as cinderella did and the main character is so different in the way she acts.
