Still doing better than me. I haven’t sold any of my first two since the summer. I haven’t paid for marketing though. I’m resigned to having an expensive hobby where I’m expected to work for free whilst being expected to fork out money for services.

No-one out here I can really talk to. Everyone I have live in my computer.

And I still haven’t read the first book in the series. It’s the opinion of one person. It counts for just a bit more than nothing because one is a bit more than nothing. (Naturally if it was one glowing review it would be of the utmost importance because that’s the way I roll!) Besides, unless your book is an in-depth study of character I’d argue that pages and pages of character description are boring. But that’s just me. I’d rather read action than a psych eval. I am in a bitchy mood today!!

Where I live I only know of WH Smith’s nearby and Waterstones a drive away. Large chains. I’m not even sure there are independent book stores near me any more.
