Real me has submitted a couple of articles. I feel odd doing so, it's not like I'm an expert.

I’m sure book 4 will be fine. And as for Radish you are correct. They require an image not a cover.

Radish is a curious beast. But I can see their point about covers. They put the writing on and it looks a mess when people have writing on their cover and then the app text over the top. Don’t know about not being able to upload it though. I haven’t started a new one since before they did a major update.

I’ve got a couple I haven’t finished yet. I’ll dig them out.

I think it’s a sound plan. Alas, I had to switch genre so I can’t do that because I’ve written two stand-alone books. One of them I am quite determined not to give away for free.

@Dale, yes I agree. Also it was good to discover that being rejected had no effect on me after all these years. The last batch were devastating. That was before I was published and before nice people here and outside of Goodreads (ie those with exceptionally good taste :-) had told me I wasn’t crap.

Someone accidentally hit the buy button on one of my books on Smashwords. I’m pretty sure it’s the first one I’ve sold lol.

Can I join in? I’ve had one rejection this year too. It only took two days. I’ll add it to the multiple ones I had twenty years ago and about six years ago.

Facebook only helps if you pay money to boost a post. Not that I sold a copy when I paid money and boosted a post, but I understand that's the way it works for other people. I agree with Susan and probably everybody.

My mum would just have refused to take part. My Dad would have needed my help. And I honestly did double fist pump the air as I walked out last week. It felt like I'd won the race!
