I have no followers on my little blog yet, but I have advertised once so far and do get a few views that might help some
So exactly how do you get on a blog tour? And what kind of expense is involved, if any? I am close to releasing my second book, but barely have any sales for my first one.
Hey e'erbody. I'm Nathan and I write a crime fiction series with Christian undertones. When I'm not busy doing that I'm usually dealing with my 2 YO daughter, or preparing a Sunday school lesson or a Bible study for Wednesday's.

That's great. I don't have any print copies left to give out, but I can email you a PDF copy, or if you have an ereader, it will be free to download March 31 - April 2. Send me a PM to let me know which you prefer.

As Helena stood drenched, the last images of the unknown man vanishing from her mind, the next bus pulled up to the stop. She trudged up the few steps, slid her pass card through the reader, and watched in dread as the light blinked out a crimson morse code, notifying the driver she was out of funds. With a simple nod, the driver wordlessly ordered her back out into the downpour. The doors hissed menacingly as they closed her off from the dry sanctuary. The bus roared away, leaving her to ponder her next move, just as the sky dumped a fresh bucket of rain onto her head.
While the woman stared at me, I continued to hold out her folder. For some unknown reason she refused to take it, which was now beginning to irritate me, as the weight of the bag was tiring my already weary arm. The horror reflecting in her eyes was unmistakable, and I could think of no reason for her reaction. I had on my best toothy grin, which, I was sure, was how most humans would present themselves to a complete stranger under these circumstances.

Detective Ken Collins is completing his rookie year in Homicide, a division of the Investigative Branch of the Foley Police Department, when a serial killer with an insatiable appetite for destruction, and a desire to ruin Ken's life, begins mutilating prostitutes in the 8th District.
Ken must work the case of his career along with his partner, Senior Detective John Filcher, all while dealing with personal circumstances that include both physical and mental issues, burgeoning questions about his Eternal security, and his dad's recurring illness.
Unfortunately for the duo, the killer is brutal and efficient and leaves no trail to follow.
Thrown into the mix is a budding romance between Ken and a beautiful coffee house cashier, a bureaucratic watchdog known as the 'Special Crimes Division', some insight into the mind of Eddie, a serial killer bent on revenge, and John's attempts to lead Ken to the Truth.
Will Ken and John find the killer before more victims die? Will the 'Special Crimes Division' make a move to take the case away from the detectives from the 8th District? Will the killer make good on his vow to destroy Ken? Will Ken accept the Truth that can change his life forever?

Thanks for the options. I'm looking at InDesign since Createspace gives details through that program for how to set up the cover dimensions@Alex-what kind of $$ would I be looking at through them. InDesign is around $80 and some of the people on Fiverr charge around $40 for print and ebook combos so after my first two books I would have the program paid for
Hey fellow authors,I'm almost ready to publish my second book. On the first book I used a cover template from Createspace, but I want to make my own layout and design for the second one and redo the first one. I've heard InDesign is a good program to use but want some input on what others use and which one would be the best choice.
Thanks,
Nathan
