That's a spiffy cover. (wow, does anyone even use that word anymore - lol) Congrats on the book. I'm sure you don't need it, but good luck with it!

This week I entered my first flash fiction contest @
http://www.indiesunlimited.com/The winner can get some great exposure by being included in an anthology. Right now I'm in 2nd place, so I feel pretty good about the piece I wrote.
And, I found out tonight that my proofreader is 2/3 done with my MS for book 2. So close to publication, I can hardly wait!
Amy wrote: "I'll read it later promise, hope it was good, I just voted for you! ETA yep liked that! Loved the end! My kind of luck."Thanks! I read through some of the others so thought mine would be a change from the norm

Hey all you fantastic readers and writers! I'm in a flash fiction contest on Indies Unlimited and need some serious votages! The winner can be included in an anthology and gain some great exposure. All votes are appreciated! Check it out at
http://www.indiesunlimited.com/then vote -preferably for me ;) Polls close Thursday at 5 pm.

That's great Alex!

congrats to e'erbody with the great news. Havent posted much myself, as not much is going on with sales...but I did get my spanking new, awesome book cover from RL for book 2 in my series.
And I got a 4 star review/rating on amazon from somebody I didn't even know or make a request to

I have a nine part series on a Worldview vs a Biblical view that's on my blog if you'd like to use it
Erica wrote: "It is finally done! After two long months, I have an official website!!! Thank you to everyone in this group who has helped me with questions along the way. A special thank you to Alexis for your i..."Congrats Erica!

I write late at night and it's pitch black outside, so I have nothing to look at. And like Anna, if I could see anything I wouldn't be able to write; it doesn't take a whole lot for me to get distracted.

Enjoyed doing your interview Amy!

You are AWESOME!!! RL, great job

My boss is a jerk...he makes me do all the work!
Amy wrote: "It's only a caravan because we can't afford bricks and mortar, otherwise I'd go for a second home by the sea in house form."I prefer a ranch in Montana or Wyoming; lots fewer people there

Meh, I'm not a caravan type lol
Alex wrote: "I'd have Bill Gates for a dad if I could pick family, I might not be any happier, but I would be more comfortable, lol."Hahaha! Totally! You can't buy happiness, but I could at least buy the services I need to make my books better, and a boat lol
Amy wrote: "I just blog when I can spin something vaguely witty around some mundane thing that's happened. I'm dreadful at reviewing things. My reviews are "I liked that" and I think that comes from being told..."That's about how my reviews go. I can only put down three or four sentences then I run out of things to say.
It's bad when your friends run you down, but worse when it's family. And yeah, Alex, sometimes it would be nice if you could pick family lol
Alex wrote: "That's mostly what I do, though it includes reviews of films and any other random things that occur to me; I tend to blog in phases though, I'll go a while withough blogging anything and then blog ..."that's kind of how I am. Although when I get on a roll, I'll post several things in one day and not do anything for the next week!
Alex wrote: "I'm still trying to work out what to do with my blog to keep the visitors coming, I only get a trickle when I'm not posting interviews. I'll get there, though."Right now I post reviews for my book, reviews I do of other books, and I'm currently posting a devotional series. I also do an occasional update of whats going on with my work or upcoming interviews
Aislinn wrote: "I'm toying with the idea of writing short little scenes in my series universe for my blog/newsletter subscribers. But I have so many things I want to write I never feel like I have the time."Know what you mean. I have four or five plot lines running around in my head for my series, but I still have editing/rewriting to do on the current project, plus the short stories I'm working on. I'm hoping that if I start posting some shorts on my site then I'll end up with more than just one follower lol
Alex wrote: "And mine. I view this as a marathon kind of thing, though. They may not buy yours or my, or any of our, books the first time they visit our blogs but if we can get them there and then keep them coming back..."I've got a WIP that I'm doing with short stories (one is posted on my showcase thread) that I'm considering posting to my blog site one short at a time to keep the visitors coming back.
