Yeah I'll be making some banners that can be used. Others should feel free to make some as well.

Speaking of banners, everyone should try to come up with funny slogans that I can use on them :D

I can't wait for my plan on wordpress.com to run out so I can move over to .org. So frustrating."

Yw!! Yes org is much better although I do miss the followers widget that wordpress.com offers!!

201765 Cool! I think you will benefit more from part II, which will include setting up a book portfolio with purchasing links, linking to newsletters in widgets and all that stuff. This one is really for beginners. :D

201765 I'm up at the website again with a super long article about author websites. It's meant to help beginners and authors that don't know much about Wordpress.

I'd love some articles about marketing now. So if you're in the mood to give some tips on that, write me a little something.

This is the kind of cover I'm comfortable with, OK so it's medical mystery and not erotica, but still.

Science fiction erotica love some different kind of covers lol

I've noticed lots of authors offering a 0.99 preorder bargain for their books these days.

It seems to work well for romance writers.

Yes, it's been mentioned before. I can't afford to change the cover at the moment. (Huge debt, already remortg..."

I would find a cheap sexy cover that appeals to women and (gay) men, sell a bunch of copies and then make enough to make a cover that appeals to all.
Mar 08, 2017 06:55AM

201765 I would keep the price at 2.99, however I would change the cover. It seems that these days readers go for a more sexy cover when it comes to erotica. Especially if you're a new author.

I will be hiring an editor, but I want to present him or her with as clean a manuscript as possible. ^_^

It's very difficult when there aren't concrete rules. Most native speakers tell you "Oh, I just know. It's instinctive." Yes, well, that doesn't help me, lol.

Thanks Erica!

Okay, I have another question.

What is everyone's thoughts on using "And" or "But" at the beginning of a sentence?

No, it has to be spring related. Maybe a horror event that takes place in Spring or something like that.

201765 Thank you, ladies.

See, I look at these two sentences..
Romances, which have happy endings, make me smile.
Romances that have happy endings make me smile.

And I'm like: it's the same sentence! You're saying the same thing. I just can't grasp the difference and it frustrates me to no end.
