You can blame it on my OCD. I always try to make sure that's taken care of among other things when it comes to my writing or anything. Oh, yes, please include the list of my books as well on the author page. Thanks!

I also forgot to add along with the other list of genres it has it also has action, suspense, multicultural and plot twists. I also sent a new author bio which tells just a little more about me. Ok, thanks, Alexis!

I have one. I've already finished. It's not romance. It's horror with a weird, wicked, sense of humor at the end, with symbolism, dark, teen to young adult/ adult/ sort of a flash fiction feel. I wrote it over a year ago to stave off writer's block. It's over 2,000 words, will that do, Alexis?

I think Friday, Saturday and Sunday is doable for me the event days that way I can do the price promotion al deals for my books. But, if that's not possible then I can be flexible. I'll post about the book event on my Facebook page and of course on my Goodreads blog once it officially launches.

I can chose from those. Thanks, Alexis! I didn't mean to overwhelm you. I appreciate all you're putting into the indie author efforts.
Alexis wrote: "Angel wrote: "Also and it just a suggestion, but you guys can ignore it if you want to what if each of our author pages on the navigating indie world/indie books event site had banners that could m..."For me, for the banner I'd like something gothic, but colorful with some dark contrast that also compliments the other brighter colors.

Ok, I tried to upload a file for one of my articles on the submissions page and it wouldn't accept the upload. What format would you like the word.doc to be in so I can upload it, because that hasn't been established in the intro and is there a limit to how many we can upload because I'd like to submit two articles of mine. If there is a limit and I can only submit one, that's fine.
Alexis wrote: "Angel wrote: "Hi, I wanted to add two of my articles directly from my Goodreads blog, but there's no place for me to post the link to the two articles, there's a place to upload files but not for m..."Sure. I can do that. That's no problem.
Alexis wrote: "Angel wrote: "Also and it just a suggestion, but you guys can ignore it if you want to what if each of our author pages on the navigating indie world/indie books event site had banners that could m..."Let me play with some ideas and get back to you on that, Alexis.
Alexis wrote: "Awesome everyone. Orange you glad Angel suggested it?
Lmao, I'm a blast at parties. :p"Lol! I'm glad my little two cents was worth something.

Also on our author pages on the indie site where the links to our social media sites are next to our author photos, those should be highlighted such as the words "Goodreads," Facebook, Amazon" and so on, those words should be highlighted in color so people know to click on them, it needs to draw the eye. In addition, the buttons where it says underneath the display of the book cover on the author page, such as the buttons that say "Meet so and so" those buttons should be in color to draw the eye to click on them. Consumers are more likely to click on those buttons if they are in color and it can also skyrocket sales. Sorry if this suggestion might irk anyone. You can ignore it if you want, that's fine. I was just lending my expertise, since I have a very strong college/ educational background and experience in Business, Advertising and Marketing.

Also since the indie books event is going to launch at the end of March, I can do a contest for readers' to win a free print copy of my book "Corridors of My Mind" and do a Kindle promotion for my other book "Weeping Well (Weeping Well, #1)." That's when I'll be able to do the Kindle Countdown deal is on March 28 but of course it won't officially kick in until the next day so I'll pick how many days the promotion and the contest will go on according to how long the indie books event will be going on.

Also and it just a suggestion, but you guys can ignore it if you want to what if each of our author pages on the navigating indie world/indie books event site had banners that could make each one of our author pages stand out. Maybe we can recruit someone who is good with making them. Also, please add my other book
Corridors of My Mind to the memoir section/it's a dark poetry/memoir. It's on my Amazon Author page along with "Weeping Well," so I guess it can be pulled from there. I forgot to mention it earlier. Thanks!

Hi, I wanted to add two of my articles directly from my Goodreads blog, but there's no place for me to post the link to the two articles, there's a place to upload files but not for me to post the links or am I wrong and I missed something, because it says on the submitting articles page that "Links are Fine."
