No, I never add an excerpt to the blurb. Because the blurb is actually an excerpt from the book in a few short words (a portion of an original quote from my book spoken by one of the characters in my book who's not of this world....). At least for my latest novel.

I will be definitely sure to enter the summer event. I've been working on new material. I hope my little short story made it into the anthology. I'm glad it worked out for everyone.

I don't know. But I sure wish I had. I don't know if this makes a difference it being the last day of the event. But just now on my Facebook Author Page on promoting our event, it has reached 114 people.

I didn't know we as authors were supposed to enter the contests, prizes and such in this event. I was trying to be all business and promote the event. Lol!

I've stopped worrying about it. I haven't given up. But I'm not expecting anything. I've been promoting the event though. There's always something in the plan so I'll keep trying and writing or....

This is my second promo event. So what does that say? I'm really not sweating it you guys. I have others things set in motion for it.

Ok, I'm dead in the water as far as sales, even with one of my books as free, it's flat out not happening. I've promoted on my Facebook Author Page along with the banner I made for the event. 87 people reached on Facebook but no takers. Three likes, no shares. Thanks, Erica, Ember and Alexis for the likes. Alexis you and yours are in my prayers. I also promoted on my GR Blog and on Wattpad. No takers. A couple of people unfollowed me on Wattpad because of my one overall message about the event. I mentioned before Wattpad people are very sensitive. Of course, no takers. When they don't want to be bothered they let you know for sure. Hope everyone else has better luck.

Thanks again everyone! Alexis especially! I have posted about the event on my GR blog, Facebook and Wattpad. So hopefully my total of 6,908 friends and followers will shared and tweet about it on their social media to their friends/followers. Fingers crossed.
