I agree with you wholeheartedly, Alex! Same here.

I have 6,986 friends and followers total counting here on Goodreads and the other social media sites I'm a member of. It's just not easy to get everybody engaged and interested and on the same page at the same time with it. Sometimes whether you have a few, few hundred, thousand or million, it doesn't guarantee you'll interest any or all of them enough to actively support you. I've seen people with little to no following have more engagement than I, who get more likes and shares and do little, to no promotion. I do a lot more promotion than they do. So it's just the luck of the draw. At least that's been my experience. I was hesitant about entering the award competition anyway. I won't ever do it again. It was a waste of my time. I'm going to work on some better projects I have designed and lined up. But Good luck to you Alex. I hope you win.!

Hi, Kay! I have sent you an email with a banner I made for the Indie Advent Calendar. I have the resources flyer and the holiday event flyer for the Indie Advent downloaded onto my flash drive and will print out copies of the flyers on my printer and distribute them in my home city closer to the day of the event to gain some potential readers and buyers, if that's ok? I will notify you closer to the day of the event or a week before my due date on the Advent Calendar when I have set the kindle promo event for my book. I'm trying to get the promo dates as close to the book's set date on the calendar.
