Indie Advent Calendar is back! It runs from December 1st-25th and I feature a different book or two every day. This is to give exposure to indie authors and encourage people to buy books as gifts/with their Christmas money.
I ran this event last year and featured 50 authors, it was a great success and this year will be even better! To take part, email me with a short post about you and the book you're advertising (1st in a series works best) in a way to catch a reader's attention. You can include a short excerpt if you'd like. I'll pull your cover from Goodreads but send a bio pic if you want one included.
Please message me if you need my email address (Please use my Hotmail, not Navigating Indieworld address) All entries must be in by October 8th, everyone will be included, and you are encouraged to help promote the event when it launches, 50 authors have a much wider reach than 1! Take a look at the one from last year if you need inspiration http://kaymacleodbooks.com/indie-adve...
(Ps, I'm sorry but I don't feature erotica.) Please ask if you need more information and thanks for taking part!

Sure dear!"
Fantastic, PM me your email address and I'll send you a set of questions within the next couple of days :)

Thank you Carole for all the hard word you put in to helping everybody.
Thank you R.L. for the incredible work you do, with the magazine and in everything else you do.
Thank you Julie for everything you put into Navigating Indieworld and beyond to help us.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this group to make it the wonderful, friendly, and invaluable place it is. You are all awesome!

And I've sent one to you too, Angel!
Thank you, Anna, I hope it's fun for everyone taking part and useful for authors too :)

I've decided to do something different and do a series of interviews with readers on my blog. We see loads of authors talking about writing, so I thought it would be interesting to see what readers have to say about what makes a great book and draws them in (then keeps them engaged.) It will be a learning experience and people will have fun talking about books they love! Authors, you can take part as a reader too, everyone is welcome. It's a short five-question interview with opportunity to say a bit about yourself and add any links you'd like. Please let me know if you want to take part, and ask your reader friends/family if they would like to have their say.
Thanks!
