AND he had a glass-topped desk, lol.
I never gave him another thought. Ever. Not him or his business.
Back then, we never talked about those things- but we always knew they were going on. The casting couch can be found in every office.

I looked around the room and asked him, "Are you talking to me? Are you asking me to do that...to get the work?"
He nodded with a self-satisfied expression. I stood, grabbed my purse and told him exactly what he could so with his business. He told me I'd never work in the field with my attitude. I informed him, I'd eat sh** before I let anyone diminish me like that. I walked out.
I never worked with the company. He had a big voice, but I found other people to trust us enough to hire us. Maybe it took longer for us to find success, but it didn't matter. It was never about being rich or successful, it was about survival, and part of survival includes being emotionally healthy. I heard he went out of business sometime after the millennium.


I'm changing my blog around and all my reviews are going to be seen there. I'm making it available to authors to make announcements.
