Carole’s comments from the Navigating Indieworld Discussing All Things Indie group.

A former reviewer from Amazon who had her reviews stripped sent me a note saying that Amazon will only allow verified reviews from now on.
Also, she said the only free reviews will be through the Vine program- which the author has to pay for. I don't know if this is true.

I believe they restored my reviews but stripped me of my ranking.

I'm not sure if this is true- but it will be a major setback for indies who depend on reviews to help sell their books.

Look up if she'll accept submissions. Follow all rules if there are any. She's a librarian. She's been reviewing our books for years.

I forgot goddess fishes. They had the best reach

I booked all of Michael's blog tours in early sept- for his book which we released Oct 13th. I planned that as each one was in it's last few days- a new one started and we had them going until the first week of dec. His book stayed in the top 100 and hovers in and out- I am not advertising this books- Only the publisher does that- but he agreed that I would arrange the blog tours. We got a number of honest reviews out of it. We used Sue Barton, Enchanted, Rock Star,Pump up your book, Kate Tilton,Bewitching. Google your genre and see what comes up with blog tours.

Reviews are the building blocks of sales!!
