I've used them many times. They do have an avid reader base.

Glad to find you back here. Hoping everybody will engage again and share what they know!

I think of it as the 'elevator pitch' for the reader to choose to invest in reading the entire book! I think it's vital to catch a reader's interest.

Never heard of them. Great name- but I'm not sure about their reach.

In the beginning I made a nice amount of money. They even paid me to write an article. They changed the structure and it doesn’t add up to much now. But you can build a sizable following if your articles touch people the right way. But you have to be consistent and publish regularly. It’s like any other form of social media If u go viral you’ll gain followers

I've used Rafflecopter for giveaways. My assistant used to set it up with them and we'd put it in a newsletter or FB- they collated the entries and picked a winner or let you choose the winner.

I spent a good part of last year posting to Facebook in a very limited way. My marketing budget was slashed, so anything I did, had to be done with just Facebook posting. It's hard to keep a routine- especially when you own routine has been demolished.

That's great news, Alex. It's fun to change genres and stretch your skills.

Just shared to my Facebook- Looks like an interesting book.

My kids have a Youtube channel. I think I have one as well- but not sure. They've loaded a bunch of my book trailers on one, I believe. Good luck with it.

Hoping it goes viral! Best of luck!

When I released my joke book, the publisher asked me to post to FB three to four times a week. The book did go viral, but it was at Christmas time and Amazon picked it as a choice for kids' gifts. It went on to hit the number spot on all of Amazon at the start of COVID and stayed there for six weeks. All I did was put up those ads on FB and I asked a few of my author friends to highlight the book on their blogs. That never happened to any of my self-published books. While I do follow the same template for my books, I sell a steady amount of paperbacks each month. KIndles sales have been dismal.

It's an easy source to get people to look at your books. There are tik tockers who are book influencers and seriously affect sales.

They look like this- It's easy- Some people have reported back that they've had a few page reads. Anita Dikason's post went viral at almost 700 views-
