When you are an author, reading is like homework- I like to read how other authors tackle subjects or spin a story- I think it helps us find our own voice. When you write a review about it- you sort of pick up things that make you think about your own work.
I'm sorry to hear that CL. We've missed you. RL - I don't know where to put this- MJ Woods lost her mom this week- she asked me to let all our group know- she didn't want anyone to think she hasn't been active.
All healing thought and love to our friends on the thread that have suffered losses.
I don't trust them. I think they'll just give no warning that I won't have print anymore. There is probably fine print somewhere keeping them safe.
Yep- but I they said they are moving the files either way by Nov or dec. That means if they can't go live- they'll let the book go out of print.I have to hop on it now in order to keep them in print.
I thought of that already- No the files were fine- except the covers all had to be redone- on every book we had. Ben Jackson's wife did a lot of that for me. She's amazing.
Hi guys,We did a little exploration and found this video and link that goes through the steps to transfer your book from CreateSpace to KDP!

I hope this helps!

So, I got this note from some guy who publishes audio books. He said he'd pay me 100 dollars to publish my audio book on his site. I don't have audio books for my kid's stuff. I tried to make one once and audible said they were too short to be published.
Jeannie Chu suggested I make audios of my books and put it on my blog (thank you Jeanie!!!). I did and saw an uptick in paperback sales. I was going to do the pirate series since they sell the least. Then this guy wrote and asked if they paid me the 100 would I post the audio on his site. I get 60 percent if they sell the audiobook- so I figured- I have nothing to lose.

"The book is still published with the same ISBN at Amazon and Ingram."That book is a Bowker ISBN or Createspace ISBN?
That was exactly my question- I couldn't' remember what I did with the books with the non Createsapce ISBN.
