Interesting development. I was asked by the publisher to post three times a day on Facebook for a joke book I wrote that came out in early September. The book was consistently in the top 10 of its genre from the day it went live. All of a sudden it jumped into Amazon's top 100 books and they named it as a top pick for Christmas.
I saw a lot of Vine reviews. I have a few Vine reviewers on my mailing list, but not nearly as many as the ones that published reviews. How do you get your book on the Vine list? Does anybody know? I've tried writing Amazon, but I get canned answers.
I love it combined with all the fall celebrations and havest stuff going on in my area. This year we are having a costume contest in our office and giving away a prize. I am curious to see how inventive the costumes are.
Welcoming to indie publishing. Getting reviews is hard enough, and then Amazon either won't publish them or deletes them. You just have to keep trying. I am constantly asking bloggers to review the book.
I've been using Book Trib- Meryl Moss runs that agency and they have some affordable plans and a tremendous reach.
Congrats to Barbara Ann Mojica and CC Bolick for their wins with the Reader's Choice Awards!Bulwark by Brit Lunden of the Bulwark Anthology took Second Place in the Anthology award- I am proud to say!
