I love it, Jerry. That is beautiful. And yes, Sasha definitely has a lot of growing within him to do. Soul work, and self acceptance. First, love thyself.I was utterly committed to bachelorhood -and convinced that I wasn't worthy of anything else- when my now-husband strolled into my life. :) Like, literally - the week before I had toasted with friends about committing to being single forever.
Well. It was a journey. :)
#JackSpiersForPresidentHope everyone is doing alright tonight, and that you're connected with your support network and people you love. Hang in there. We'll get through this together. That's a promise.
Lots of love, tonight and always -

:) Jealous Sergey!! :) So, here's a question: given how hardened and wounded Sasha is - he's lost his whole world twice, and is utterly convinced that the world will not give him what he wants at all - how hard do you think anyone would have to work to start something with him? Sasha is a man who fundamentally doesn't believe he deserves good things, or happiness. How could someone chip away at that? Convince him otherwise?
Just a thought I had....

As you can see, we all ..."OMG, I am seriously feeling the pressure, lol! I guess I had better get to writing book three.... :)
I am loving all of the discussions on who the mole is. *evil laugh*
And thank you!
@Natalie ..... What do you think Jack would do for his staff for Christmas? :) @Melissa I can't wait to hear your reaction to their gifts! It was almost as agonizing as the author coming up with their gifts as I'm sure it would be for them. In the end, there were five presents.
This tattoo thing might totally happen. :) LOL
Melissa wrote: "Oooooh, tattoos. Yes!! I want the scene where they get them too, please!!!! I can just picture that conversation with Secret Service. "You want to go where?""
ROFL!!!
My husband and I have matching tattoos on our arms. .... this might have to be a thing..... :)

It is illegal in most jurisdictions. But, just because it's illegal doesn't mean that it isn't done. And yep - explosives concealed within hollowed out bone or covered up within bone grafts is a very real thing. Bombs within body cavities (not just bone) is also very real. Very tragically, there have been pregnant woman, or woman who pretend to be pregnant, concealing explosives within their person in order to get close to a target to detonate. Not awesome to read about, I know. :(
Apologies for the downer!
You guys CRACK ME UP!! :D Especially Melissa. OMG. I love your speech!!So, just a quick clarification - Enemy is *not* science fiction. I know the two big things may seem crazy like. But, bombs hidden within bones or laid underneath a bone graft are currently possible, as is (view spoiler)
So, as scary as it might seem, it's not science fiction. :) Science fiction is science that is totally, 100% fiction. None of what is in Enemy is science fiction. It's all based in fact and in realism. I've been thinking about doing a blog post about it all. What do you guys think? Would that be useful?
I appreciate you guys voting and writing me in! I'd love to see LGBT books advance to the next rounds! Thank you thank you!
For people jumping into Time to Rise - it is *different* than your average paranormal. I'd probably call it a horror-thriller more than anything else. Dan Brown meets Exorcist. It's part a much longer story run than the Executive Office series will be. :)
I hope you guys like it!! And THANK YOU for your votes and your support!!! <3 Love you all!

Yes, Liz. Yes. :)I'm very curious about all the suspicion about Elizabeth. Is this just feeling, or do you guys have evidence?
WOW!! Awesome find! Great job. :) Adam and Faisal are both mid to lateish twenties. Those eyes on the last guy, Jan.... Man. Wow.
From Enemies, Adam had dark hair and dark eyes, and was fastidious in his appearance. By Enemy, he'd been worn down and was a bit more ragged looking.
Faisal is an interesting character for me. The Middle Eastern culture and understanding of masculinity is so radically different than Western ideas. For him, being a royal, grace, class, and education were/are revered as highly desirable traits. Especially since he's Saudi, and not, say, a middle eastern country locked in war or conflict, where he'd be expected to boast more of a military heritage/knowledge. The keys to his character are his Saudi culture and his deep faith in Islam.
Sasha is all Russian - dour, convinced the world is against him (and he's been proven right more than once!), and a complete pessimist. Sergey, who has had more interactions with the world, has navigated his way through a country-wide economic shakeup and come out the other side, and who has befriended a certain president in particular, has a slightly less "Russian" view of the world. They will have an interesting head butt if/when they reunite, for sure! :)
HI Natalie! Hi Parvathy! :) Jerry! Great to see you here! Glad to see you a part of this group. Looking forward to your thoughts and reactions.
Welcome everyone!

I cannot react to anything. I have strict no spoiler rules that I follow. (just ask Parvathy!! ;) ) But.... Gif Reactions are always fun, yes? :D
Love this whole thread. All of it!! Love it so much!
Christelle wrote: "Liz wrote: "Melissa wrote: "Scott better live through this or me and Tal are gonna have a talk."Spoiler: EVERYONE DIES. Except Madigan and Cook. For real though, Ethan broke my heart :("
Please,..."
OMG!!!! Liz!!
LOL.
I'm glad you guys got through the read. :) Reading your comments was a treat. Thank you for sharing your reads!!!
LOL!! There is a *strong* possibility of a separate, prequel novel for Faisal and Adam. They were broken up in Enemies, when Adam brought his team and Ethan to Saudi. Before that, they had a two year long relationship... in secret. There's a lot to explore there. I plotted it out before writing Enemy so that I could reference their shared history and together throughout the novel.
Sergey and Sasha met in Enemy, so any novels featuring them would have to take place post book three..... and I can't say anything about whether that would happen or not. :) I have a strict - strict! lol - no spoilers policy about future books/happenings.
I feel like Marvel, though: "Sergey & Sasha will return in Book Three."
:)
Trio wrote: "I think that might be the perfect Ethan...but Jack definitely won't have tattoos."
I feel like giving them "couple tattoos" now. ;) LOL
Natalie wrote: "I know I will. (Still would have been funny to see him picking out Christmas ornaments!)"How about him picking out Christmas gifts? :)
*Mad Laughter*Just Kidding. :)
Sorry for the long absence! I think this is a great (hilarious) idea. I'd love to see your guys' thoughts, ideas, and everything else. I heartily approve! :)
