Hmmm, try giving the vamps a different and original reason for needing the protection or something like that to make it extremely different.

I can see similarities with ur story, but not enough that i'd say it's like VA. Granted, idk where ur gonna go with it. I'll just wait and see, i guess =)

I think that's a good idea Soph. Read first and then focus all ur attention on writing. That way it's not divided.
I worry abt that a lot too, when i write. Especially with Destined. There's so many vampire stories out there and i don't want it to seem like i copied anything. That's my biggest issue with writing. It always seems like whatever idea u hav has already been done.
It looks good. I've wanted to read it for a really long time.
